LogicaCMG,
the IT services and telecommunications company, is to create 750 jobs at
Bridgend, underlining the recent strong performance of the South Wales jobs
market.
Unemployment
has fallen sharply around the M4 corridor – which connects South Wales to Bath,
Bristol and Swindon – with technology companies responsible for the bulk of new
jobs in the area.
LogicaCMG
said it would add 350 posts at an existing facility in Bridgend, and employ 415
people at a new premises.
