More than one in three people between the ages of 50 and 65 are interested in job hunting on-line.
The research by web-based service FiftyOn found that “silver surfers” are some of the fastest growing Internet adopters.
In the survey, 37 per cent of people aged between 50 and 65 who had previously used the Internet, said they would consider using the web again to look for a job. An additional 27 per cent who had never been on-line also said they would consider using the Internet to find employment.
FiftyOn will specialise in recruitment and career development for older people.
