Steel workers face mass redundancies

Thousands
of Corus workers are waiting to hear whether they will lose their jobs.

The
Anglo-Dutch steel firm is planning "significant" reductions in
capacity at UK plants in a bid to stop losing £1m a day.

However,
the company faces intense pressure from unions and politicians to keep its UK
plants open.
