Gas
company Transco has been charged with culpable homicide after a Scottish family
were killed in an explosion three years ago.
It is
the first time the charge has been made in Scotland and follows a lengthy
investigation by Strathclyde Police.
Transco
said it knows the precise nature of the allegations, and intends to contest
them.
Two
adults and three children were killed in the gas explosion at their family home
in South Lanarkshire in December 1999.
