Around 500 staff at the plant are due to walk out on Thursday 23 September and Tuesday 28 September after rejecting a pay rise of approximately 2%, the news report claimed.
The plant, famous for producing teacakes, snowballs and caramel wafers, will be without its 500 staff for a total of four days, because of the holiday closures on Friday and Monday.
