Better pay has unsurprisingly topped a poll of Christmas wishes for UK workers.
The YouGov survey of more than 1,400 employees, commissioned by recruiter StepStone, shows that 67% of UK employees want Santa to put more in their pay packets.
The second most popular choice was new and more exciting tasks selected by 13% of respondents.
A further 8% wish for a better atmosphere at work, while 6% want a more capable boss. Only 6% said that they could wish for nothing more from their job.

The younger respondents were the most eager for a better salary, chosen by 72% of people in the 18 to 29 age bracket and 71% of 30-50 year olds.
In contrast, only 57% of over-50s.wanted better pay, with more from this group making less materialistic wishes than their younger colleagues.
