Small and medium-sized businesses are putting themselves at risk by allowing enthusiastic but unskilled staff to maintain or repair their technology, experts have warned.

But although the individual is perceived as an IT expert by their employers, they rarely have the certification to prove their skills, according to IT training firm Computeach.
The warning came as Computeach launched the CompTIA A+ qualification as a ‘blended learning’ course.
