Young
people say they are more likely to suffer from age discrimination at work than
older workers.
Research
by law firm Eversheds shows
two-thirds of young people feel they are unfairly treated because of their age
or lack of experience.

Williams, specialist in discrimination legislation at Eversheds, said: “It is not surprising that young
people are feeling the most victimised, as managers tend to understand age
discrimination in terms of older workers.

research showed that nearly half of senior managers think that age
discrimination only affects old people.”
