Staff at estate agency Savills will share out an £80m bonus after buoyant trading in 2005.
The property consultancy, which sells £1m-plus luxury homes, office blocks and hotels, said it had had an “exceptionally strong” December, despite reports of a dwindling property market.
The bonus will be split between 2,500 UK staff with 40 London agents expecting up to £300,000 each.
Chief executive Aubrey Adams said the 2005 profits would be “ahead of expectations” when the company’s final results are released in March.
But employees at the property group were rewarded with a £79.4m bonus last year after beating profit targets in 2004.
The group’s annual profits for 2005 are predicted to hit £56m, up from £44.3m in 2004.
