Ex-soldiers lose right to trauma compensation

Veterans
have lost a court battle seeking compensation for the trauma suffered while at
war.

Ex-troopers,
stationed in Northern Ireland, the Falklands, Bosnia and the Gulf War, claimed
the Armed Forces had inadequately prepared them for the "horrors of war".

If
successful, the case would have cost the Ministry of Defence (MoD) millions of
pounds.

Almost
2,000 veterans registered an interest in suing their former employer.
