Written by two psychologists, this book aims to help the reader manage difficult conversations by changing their own attitudes.

It’s practical, and it really spells out the issues. Unlike many business books, this one makes a point of helping the readers relate the theory to their own experiences. The heavy emphasis on theory can be off-putting, however, and it would have benefited from some case studies.
