This involved building a badger-watching platform in a bid to improve their skills in leadership, motivation and performance management.

Director of operations Tina Whitley said: “Our aim was to lay the foundations for employees to develop in the workplace. Even if the platform has to be rebuilt next week, it doesn’t matter.” It’s unlikely the trust would share that view.
