British
Airways ground staff who are
members of the GMB union have voted to accept a pay package negotiated by union
officials.
The
airline made the offer late last month to avert a planned 24-hour strike of
more than 10,000 ground staff.

Groundstaff will receive a
backdated 8.5 per cent pay rise over three years and a £1,000 bonus, payable by
September 2006.
