LSC launches apprenticeship website

The
Learning & Skills Council (LSC) has launched a new website to promote
apprenticeships for young people.

The
LSC said thousands of young people each year take up vocational training in
favour of pursuing an academic route, but many young people are still confused
about work-based learning, apprenticeships and what is involved. 

This
site aims to help young people find out more about specific career paths in
sectors such as engineering or catering, and also business administration and
management.
