Video launched to promote social care careers

The
Department of Health has launched a video to help employers, job centres and
careers advisers recruit people into social care occupations.

The
video aims to educate jobseekers and career changers about the many varied
opportunities available in social care, by showing real-life carers at work and
listening to them talk about their jobs.

The
video demonstrates the breadth, diversity and job satisfaction that social
carers enjoy. It has been developed in co-operation with JobCentre Plus and
will be distributed to every Job Centre in England.
