The
Metropolitan Police is launching a mobile IT training centre to help officers
and civilian staff that work part-time or have childcare responsibilities.
The
new IT coach can seat 12 people and is equipped to offer a range of training
courses on the Met’s computer systems.
Taking
the training to the workplace will make life easier for part-time staff who
find it difficult to travel to external sessions.
Bernard
Hogan-Howe, Assistant Commissioner for HR, said the coach will offer greater
access to training for people that find travelling to Hendon a problem.
