Unions
have announced two strike dates for London Underground tube drivers.
Due
to a dispute over pay, members of Aslef and the RMT will walk out from noon on
5 March to noon on 7 March.
They
will also strike from noon on 26 March to noon on 28 March.
Aslef
said in a ballot 847 tube drivers backed industrial action with 191 voting
against.
The
unions say London Underground has broken a promise to close the £1,600 pay gap
between drivers of passenger and engineering trains.

Aslef
general secretary Mick Rix said: "It is time London Underground honoured
the agreement we reached with them last October and paid our members the
promised increase."
