messaging, online video and webcam candidate profiles will be central to
graduate recruitment within four years, employers were told this week.

Moore, joint managing director of recruitment agency Aia, told HR delegates at
this week’s Association of Graduate Recruiters annual conference that they must
remain open-minded about the use of technology in recruitment.
She
said, “As recently as five years ago, the Internet did not even figure in the
majority of graduate recruitment programmes. Today it is the recruiter’s main
tool. The pace of change has been dramatic and will continue.

“As
graduate recruitment becomes increasingly sophisticated, fully integrated
strategies which combine the Internet, digital television, WAP, text messaging and
more traditional offline channels will become possible.”
