Protest rally against M&S store closures

Union leaders are finalising plans for a Europe-wide demonstration
day by Marks and Spencer staff in protest at store closures in France.

More than 1,000 workers from France, Belgium and other
countries are expected to join the rally in London on May 17.

Union Network International, which represents 50 unions
across Europe, is organising the demonstration.

Union officials will meet later this week to finalise plans for
the demonstration.
