Fraudulent CVs are costing employers millions, according to CV checking company Experian.
It also claims that three out of four CVs have been embellished, while a third contain lies. CV fraud costs companies because employers can be fooled into appointing incompetent staff.
An Experian spokesman said, “CV fraud is a growing problem. Companies in all sectors of industry are starting to realise the damage it can do, both financially and in terms of reputation.”
