Announcing the strategy, health minister Lord Philip Hunt said, “The role of these key professionals has often been undervalued or neglected.”
The strategy, called Meeting the Challenge: A Strategy for the Allied Health Professions, will be supported by £6 million of new money for education and leadership development initiatives.
