SHRM recently released results of its annual Benefits Survey, which found
that more than one quarter of companies asked offered alternative work options
to help employees balance work and life issues. In some cases, larger companies
were more likely to offer flexibility than small or medium-sized organisations,
possibly due to greater demand or because it is simply more cost-effective.
