Ann Summers, purveyor of sex toys and lingerie, has won its court battle to
advertise for staff in Jobcentres. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
had banned the advertisements to avoid offending people, and to stop the risk
of jobseekers losing their benefits if they refused an offer of employment. The
High Court said the ban was "unlawful and irrational". The DWP said
it is considering an appeal.
