Some IT jobs at London’s 2012 Olympics will be based offshore, it has emerged.
Atos Origin confirmed it would provide technological support for the Games from both London and Barcelona.
Rob Price, 2012 account director for Atos, told Personnel Today: “There will be about 3,400 jobs providing IT for the London Games.

“Some will be from our software factory in Barcelona; others will be local volunteers in London; some will be internationals based in London.”
Atos has contracts to design, build and operate the IT infrastructure for the 2012 Games. It has been the worldwide IT partner for the Olympic Games since 2001.
