Engineering giant BAE Systems is set to cut almost 2,000 jobs at 13 sites across the UK.

BAE claims this is because of falling workloads. Sites that will be affected include Edinburgh, Rochester in Kent, Chadderton near Manchester, Luton, Southampton, and Basildon in Essex.
The company employs 45,000 workers at more than 70 sites in the UK.
