The Royal Bank of Scotland Group is extending flexible working rights to all
its employees.
Called ‘Yourtime’, the new flexible working programme brings a number of new
and existing policies under one umbrella.
Group HR director Neil Roden said: "Increasingly, employees are looking
for ways to find a rewarding balance between their work and personal lives and
this programme provides a more structured way of doing this.
"Yourtime marks a step change in the way the group views and approaches
flexible working," he said. The scheme will extend the right to request
flexible working to all 84,000 UK employees.

Roden said while many employees need flexibility because of caring
responsibilities, many workers are seeking more time to devote to personal
interests.
"Supporting different working practices enables the business to be more
flexible as well as improving employee satisfaction and loyalty, and will play
a vital role in helping us to retain key skills and experience within the
organisation," Roden added.
