Bupa has extended its contract with Futuremedia for a learning management
system (LMS), hosting services and software integration to its Bupa
International Unit. It follows successful implementation of the system within
Bupa’s UK Insurance Division.
The international division provides healthcare and insurance products for UK
and non-UK expatriates, as well as high net worth individuals in more than 180
countries. In encouraging employers to take control of their professional
development, Bupa believes this will lead to improved service levels for the
division’s customers, which span 115 nationalities.

"This is the first time our International Division employees will be
using an e-learning system of this calibre," says Stephanie Hall, Bupa’s
people development manager. "We want everyone to be able to learn at their
own speed and access multimedia learning in all our programmes. They can train
in both their technical and behavioural skills online."
