Employers
are being offered Government funding to help them improve relations between
management and staff.
A
total of £1.2m will be made available to help companies tackle industrial
disputes and promote flexible working.
Employment
Minister Alan Johnson said the aim of the fund is to encourage partnership at
work.
"The
partnership approach not only means businesses can deal with issues such as
resolving disputes, but that they can reap benefits of input from throughout
the organisation, which ultimately impacts on the bottom line," said
Johnson.

The
money will come from a partnership fund, which has already helped a number of
firms set up staff forums and working groups to tackle problems such as
absenteeism.
