The Health and Safety Executive has named and shamed hundreds of organisations and individuals convicted of health and safety crimes during the past year.
This puts into place the commitment in the ‘Revitalising Health and Safety’ strategy statement.
The report, called Health and Safety offences and penalties, lists around 1,600 individual offences. It includes several big-name companies, including Balfour Beattie and London Underground as well as small firms, local authorities, hospitals and universities throughout Britain.
