Dixons links up with Jobcentre Plus to fill 1,000 new jobs

The
Dixons Group will fill more
than 1,000 new positions annually with the help of Jobcentre Plus under a new
recruitment agreement signed today.

The
partnership arrangement will provide Dixons
Group with account management support from the Employer Services Directorate at
Jobcentre Plus.

As
part of the agreement, Dixons
Group will consider applications from jobseekers through the agency, including
those on the New Deal – part of the Government’s strategy to help people move
from welfare to work.

Jobseekers
will be able to access vacancies through the network of Jobcentre offices and
through the Jobcentre website.
