The
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has announced a £7m Regional Selective
Assistance grant to create more than 400 jobs at a new state of the art
printing facility in Merseyside.
The
DTI grant is in addition to a £115m investment by media services provider
Avarto AG.
The
facility in Speke is likely to be running at full capacity in early 2008.

Trade
and industry secretary, Patricia Hewitt, said: "These new jobs will create
opportunities not just for those employed at the plant, but for the rest of the
area too. I am pleased that this project will also help increase and improve
local skills."
