– Marconi Corporation has announced a three-year e-learning contract with
SkillSoft after trialling its MultiModal Learning solution (MML). The programme
combines Marconi’s own bespoke e-learning content with Skillsoft’s generic IT
and business e-learning and Books24x7 referenceware. SkillSoft will deliver the
learning in five languages via its portal SkillPort 6. Â www.skillsoft.com

– i10 is a collaboration of 10 east of England universities, including the
University of Cambridge, which are combining to deliver free, bite-sized
e-learning courses on business innovation. Other universities involved include
Anglia Polytechnic University, the Open University and the University of
Hertfordshire. All courses take only 20 minutes to complete. Â www.i10.org.uk
– SumTotal Systems is the new company formed following the integration of
Docent and Click2learn. Its first product has been announced and will be
available later in 2004. SumTotal Enterprise Suite 7.0 com-prises a number of
