Environment Agency staff may strike over pay

Environment
Agency staff are to set to be balloted for strike action over pay.

Unions
claim the company offered staff an additional 0.5 per cent in return for a days
holiday.

The
ballot will start in October, with unions – including GMB and Unison – calling
for a minimum increase of 3 per cent.
