Family friendly policies are the key to recruiting

Almost
half of adults believe that fathers should have the same employment rights as
mothers, according to a report.

More
than a third of the 1,000 people surveyed for research by Key Note believe that
employers who incorporate family friendly policies in HR practices are more
likely to be able to recruit and retain quality employees with children.

Almost
a third of the respondents believe that parental leave should be paid – with
one in four claiming the Government needs to do more to get mothers back to
work.

One
in 10 people without children find family friendly policies an annoyance.
