The Leader of the Opposition has pledged to only promote
those ministers who managed to reduce regulation if the Conservative party is
elected to power.
William Hague made his promise at the British Chambers of
Commerce National Conference and Exhibition yesterday when he stressed his
determination to ease the burden of red tape on business in the UK.
“I will only promote those ministers who reduce regulation.
“If you sign every piece of legislation in your in tray your
career is going to go backwards,” he said.
