Hospital doubles childcare places

Staff at the Royal London Hospital have doubled the number of childcare places available to them in a purpose-built workplace nursery.

The nursery cares for the children – aged from three months to five years – of doctors, nurses, laboratory and clerical staff and porters at the East End hospital.

Employment and equal opportunities minister Margaret Hodge who opened the 50-place nursery last week is pictured with nursery nurses and children at the hospital.
