Four construction companies have been rewarded for their “safety first” approach at this year’s Working Well Together national 4C construction awards.
The Working Well Together initiative aims to improve health and safety by challenging the culture of the construction industry.
Warings Contractors won the premier prize, the “Silver Helmet” award for commitment. The company was commended by the judges for its high degree of planning and action on health and safety.

Other winners included BNFL Engineering in the “Co-operation” section, Purac for communication and Keir Southern for competence.
