The number of interim managers
employed in FTSE 250 companies is at its highest level for five years,
according to Boydon recruitment consultants.
New figures show that eighty
per cent of all FTSE 250 companies are employing interim managers at senior
executive and board level, up from around 65 per cent last year.
Nick Robeson, chairman of the
Interim Management Association, said: "[This] means there’s a lot bubbling
under in the economy right now; interims are only engaged when change,
challenge, crisis or progress is on the agenda.”
