The
Institute of Directors is urging the European Commission to cut red tape.
The
IoD said it agrees with plans to increase regulatory reform, but believes the
changes need to be implemented properly.
It
also wants the standard consultation time of six weeks to be extended.

Richard
Bacon, IoD deputy head of the policy unit, said: "We have a good package
here. Now the Commission must deliver. We need to see concrete results, in
terms of less regulation."
