Median salaries for IT roles followed an upward trend last year, according
to research.
A survey of subscribers to Computer Weekly covering 65 job titles, finds
that the median salary for all IT positions rose by 2.5 per cent in the year to
the end of 2002.
The study by Salary Survey Publications, shows that managers did best, with
a median increase of 6 per cent across nine recorded positions.
IT directors had the highest pay increase of nearly 15 per cent during 2002,
reaching an average salary of £95,340.
