E-learning tops the return on investment (ROI) enterprise technologies,
according to a new report by Nucleus Research in the US. Other enterprise
technologies, such as standalone content management solutions, e-commerce and
business-to-business marketplaces, provided the least ROI.
The findings are based on thousands of ROI studies conducted by Nucleus on
behalf of Global 200 companies.
"Customers implementing e-learning solutions have quickly recognised
first-tier benefits, including reduced costs for travel, HR overheads and
customer support," said Nucleus. "They received second-tier benefits
too, such as increased employee performance that directly impacts
profitability."
