Jaguar faces more job cuts

More job losses are to come at Jaguar according to Amicus and the T&G union.

Trade union officials giving evidence to the Commons Select Committee on the 1,150 Jaguar job cuts announced in September, said that more redundancies are likely.

The initial cuts and potential future cuts are at plants in Coventry and Castle Bromwich.

Tony Murphy, Amicus national officer for the automotive industry, said: “We believe that the job cuts announced so far are just the tip of the iceberg.”
