If people are at the heart of your organisation, and if you haven’t done so already, here is a final chance to take action.  Registration closes on October 31st for both the 2007 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For survey, and the 2008 workplace engagement standard – Best Companies Accreditation.

Organisations interested in entering The Sunday Times competition and taking part in the 2008 Best Companies accreditation, can register for either or both immediately by visiting www.bestcompanies.co.uk or call a member of the Best Companies team on 01978 856 222.

Announcements of Accreditation successes will be made in January 2008 and the Best Companies to Work For lists will be announced next March.

Developed by Best Companies the Star Status Accreditation Standard is an elite `Michelin style` awards system designed to acknowledge excellence in the workplace where One Star is defined as ‘First Class’, Two Stars as ‘Outstanding’, and Three Stars as ‘Extraordinary’.

Personnel Today articles are written by an expert team of award-winning journalists who have been covering HR and L&D for many years. Some of our content is attributed to "Personnel Today" for a number of reasons, including: when numerous authors are associated with writing or editing a piece; or when the author is unknown (particularly for older articles).
