McDonald’s HR deputy David Fairhurst appointed as vice-chairman of People 1st Sector Skills Council

David Fairhurst, vice-president of people at McDonald’s, has been appointed vice-chairman of People 1st, the sector skills council for the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries.

Fairhurst joins fellow HR professional Mike Burton, UK HR director at contact caterer Compass Group on the People 1st board of trustees.
