Men rapped over expenses claims

It’s
official. Men cannot do without their creature comforts – and they expect their
employers to pick up the tab.

A survey
of 1,000 European business travellers found men are far more confident than
women about their business expenses, claiming for everything from mini bar
tipples and room service to in-room videos, laundry and personal telephone
calls.

Nearly
two-thirds of men (63 per cent) choose to stay in four or five star hotels,
while 42 per cent of female executives are happy to settle for two and three
star accommodation.

The
findings, based on responses from executives in six European countries, were
commissioned by Visa Corporate Card.
