MidlandHR has won the prestigious ‘Payroll Service Provider of the Year’ award for 2011, from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) at the institute’s 27th Payroll and Pensions Conference and Exhibition in Glasgow. The awards, which are held annually, recognise excellence in payroll service provision.

Receiving the award alongside the team, Iain Moffat, MidlandHR’s services director, commented: “The Payroll Service Provider of the Year award is particularly special to us because it’s not only about demonstrating an effective, compliant payroll function but also a real commitment to customer service.  Our customer service is something we are passionate about and it’s great that this award recognises the outstanding qualities of both our product and our people.

“My team at MidlandHR are amongst the brightest, most qualified payroll professionals in the industry, making it exceptionally rewarding to receive recognition like this. It reinforces the fact that MidlandHR is meeting the objectives we set out to achieve, and that our customers in turn receive compelling business value.”

Vickie Moss, associate director of marketing and business development at the CIPP, added: “The Payroll Service Provider of the Year category received a very high standard of nominations. MidlandHR was praised by its clients for being a true partner in developing strategy and providing support, understanding and professional experience to ensure a best practice service. They also commended MidlandHR on its ability to transform processes swiftly and innovatively. The CIPP offers MidlandHR its congratulations on this fantastic achievement.”

MidlandHR tailors its outsourcing services around the exact requirements of customers, whether they choose to outsource individual process services or comprehensive HR and payroll outsourcing services. Successful payroll provision also depends on a solid technology platform to underpin critical processes and an expert team of professionals to administer them accurately and on time. MidlandHR authors its own software, a single workforce solution encompassing payroll and HR, workforce planning, human capital and talent management. This provides a comprehensive and dependable platform upon which to support customers, with exceptional service provided by a Managed Service team.
