Money men are the most likely to stab HR professionals in the back

HR
is most likely to be ‘stitched up’ by the finance department, according to a
survey of 290 HR professionals.

The
findings, from Richmond Events’ Director Survey 2002, show that 33 per cent of
HR professionals believe their colleagues in the finance department are the
most likely to undermine their influence.

They
are not so closely followed by the sales and marketing department and the IT
department, both at 16 per cent.

Yet,
surprisingly, 29 per cent said the finance department was their closest ally,
followed by sales and marketing on 21 per cent.
