DIY
retailer B&Q has announced plans to create 3,500 new jobs with the opening
of 20 new stores this year.
The
company is celebrating its 35th anniversary this month, and the new B&Q
stores will take the total number to 337.
The
first of the new stores will open later this month in Wigan and will be
followed in July by the opening of the largest UK B&Q store in Manchester.

20 new stores will include 11 B&Q warehouses and nine mini-warehouses.
