Alex O’Grady has been appointed as the new executive director of the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) with immediate effect.
She succeeds Peter King who has stood down after three years in the post.

O’Grady has worked as an HR professional in the NHS for more than 20 years and was a HR director of an acute trust.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on my work in developing HR capability in healthcare through the work of the HPMA,” she said.
