Council staff at the London Borough of Brent have been banned from taking smoking breaks during the working day, except before and after work and during lunch breaks, from 1 July.

Cambridge has the healthiest workers in the UK, with almost half of the city’s commuters travelling on foot or by bicycle, research reveals. A new study by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy places the city at the top of the list of the healthiest workers.
